Mario

Poem - 2 minutes

Down in the depths of the Mushroom Kingdom, Where light and shadow weave their random whims, Princess Peach waits with a heart so tender, Her castle bright, her spirit ember.

Through pipes of green, and lands of wonder, Toad and Yoshi stand by his thunder, A plumber brave, in red and blue, Mario, the hero, who always comes through.

With each leap and bound, with fire and star, He fights the Goombas near and far, In Bowser's lair, a dragon's roar, A battle waged, a kingdom's core.

Mushrooms grant him strength anew, A power-up, a world to view, The Koopa Troopas in their shell, Spin and twist, a tale to tell.

In haunted mansions, ghosts do linger, With courage firm and steady finger, He conquers fear, and darkness folds, A heart of gold, a story told.

The Piranha Plants with their bite, In every shadow, every light, Through ice and fire, desert sand, A journey vast, a hero's stand.

With every coin, a chime of glee, A path to tread, a fate to see, The Bullet Bills that pierce the sky, He dodges swift, as time flies by.

And when the stars align just right, A rainbow road, a shining light, With Luigi by his side, so true, A brother's bond, a dream pursued.

From Donkey Kong to galaxies far, He travels wide, a cosmic star, In every game, in every lore, A legacy, forevermore.

The Hammer Bros with their might, Challenge him, but with delight, He overcomes with skill and grace, A smile adorned upon his face.

Through time and space, in every game, His spirit soars, his heart aflame, From 8-bit worlds to high-def screens, A legend born, in pixels' gleam.

Each princess saved, each kingdom freed, A hero's heart in every deed, Mario, the name, a shining mark, A beacon bright, in gaming's arc.

From Shigeru Miyamoto's mind he sprang, A legacy, a song well sang, Through decades long, his tale's unfurled, A hero loved, in every world.
